A new survery by Police on England and wales has found that as many as 1 in 4 drivers could be driving illeagally due to poor eyesight, the survey carried out in

Online DVD rentals review

While I read plenty of books, reading text materials can be boring once in a while for which I have gone and started appreciating watching more and more DVD's. I love watching movies but they can get pretty expensive--especially if you're only going to watch them once or twice. I have realized that online DVD rentals is the most inexpensive way of watching tons of movies depending on how fast you go through them. Herein, in effort to help people on deciding which provider is the best way to go, I will go through valid points based upon my observation within the last couple of weeks of using the trial periods. Although there are other one's out there, it is pretty clear to the general consensus that Blockbuster and Netflix owns their competition hands down. Within the two weeks trial, I pretty much was able to come up with conceivable points and distinguish a valid winner between the two competitors. Breaking up the differences in different segments allows a more clear assessment of quantifiable distinctions as far as service is concern although some are debatable.

Selection

While I was searching for some hard to find movies, I have noticed that Netflix offers a lot more choices when it comes to DVD compared to blockbuster. Blockbuster is somewhat limited to mainstream DVD's.

Availability

One thing that I dislike about Blockbuster is the availability of some of the more popular movies. It's hard to imagine with Blockbuster's popularity that it doesn't have enough supply of DVD's to rent out to everyone. It's a huge turn off once seeing something like, "Very long wait" because this usually means that movie won't be available for another couple of weeks. With Netflix, there's no such thing as a waiting period.

Delivery

Another reason that I dislike Blockbuster is that it has a 2 day leading time once the DVD has been shipped. Netflix however on the other hand arrives in the mail, the day after it was shipped--and this is amazing. In a month period of time, realistically you'll get at least 3 more shipments from Netflix than Blockbuster--and that is huge! While Blockbuster allows you to exchange 5 movies in their store per month (which is nice), this is not enough to cover the very slow shipping that it offers.

Price

This is an area that is debatable although I think that at varying prices, the price is pretty much comparable. Considering prices from both entities, while Blockbuster allows you to exchange movies 5 times per month, Netflix on the other hand have launched 'Instant Browsing', which allows customers to view movies instantly online--although not all movies can be viewed, their library is growing.

As a little girl, I loved the beach. I loved sitting on the beach just staring out at the ocean. I found it to be incredibly serene and powerful. I always imagined myself getting married on the beach. From the time I was 10 years old, I was determined that someday I would be having a beach wedding. I carried that idea with me all the way through my college years. When my boyfriend slipped a ring on my finger, it was not what type of groomsmen gifts he was buying for his groomsmen, but rather thinking ahead to how I was finally going to have my dream beach wedding.

My fiancé wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea of a beach wedding. The closest beach to our hometown was three hours away. While I realized that having a beach wedding would mean it was limiting the number of guests that would actually attend, I was still determined. After debating for several months on setting a date, he was still not thrilled. However, since he knew that it would make me happy, he caved in. I was celebrating - my beach wedding would finally take place!

I found a lovely inn that was located directly on the beach. In order to have my wedding there, it was required that I reserve all of the guests rooms for the weekend. That wasn't very cheap but we were in love with the little inn, so we agreed. I was assigned a wedding coordinator who was more than happy to take control of my beach wedding plans as well as buying our groomsmen wedding party gifts. She began to go over lots of details with me that I had never thought about when it came to exchanging my vows on the sand. She said that I really should get married in the morning because of the position of the sun. No one wanted photos taken with everyone squinting and the sun being in our eyes the entire time not even with personalized pub signs in the way. Or, she said that it would have to be late evening since I had chosen the summer to get married. In the late evening, the sun wouldn't be much of an issue either. While I knew that there is usually always a breeze at the beach, I had not thought about that in regards to how it would affect a beach wedding. I hadn't thought about my hair blowing or my dress not staying in one place. I hadn't thought about the sand blowing around either. Because of all of the factors that had been brought to my attention, I had to adjust my thoughts on buying a dress and how I'd wear my hair. I bought a dress that was a bit more form fitting and didn't have a long train. I opted to not wear a veil and wore my hair in an elegant bun. I chose to not decorate the chairs with flowers and ribbons, but decorated the inside reception instead. I made everything taking place on the beach very simply and hassle-free.

A Review of the Xbox 360 Console

Right now there are three major gaming consoles on the market for you to choose from – the Nintendo Wii, the Playstation 3, and the Xbox 360. I have tested and written about both the Wii and the Playstation, so now it is time for an Xbox 360 console review.

Xbox 360 – A Complete Look

After I set it up I saw the Xbox 360 is a far cry from its predecessor. The first Xbox was bulky in appearance and big and black. The new unit is anything but. It is far smaller, although not as small as the Wii or Playstation, and white in color. Xbox 306 console gets a 4 points out of a maximum of 5 simply for the way it looks.

While appearance for some people is important, if you are a serious gamer then this is the least important thing. So let’s take a look into the next part of the Xbox 360 core console review and look at the titles that are available. This is not an Xbox 360 game review, but rather a look at the games you can get. The only system that Halo is available for is the Xbox and that is the primary thing that stands out for the Xbox 360 console. Game play on the console is by far a cut above that which is available on the PC. My favorite ever is the Halo series and this is a huge plus for the Xbox. While the single player is fun, this game truly shines with the multiplayer options, but I will get into that in the next section. The Xbox 360 console gets a 4 out of 5 from me for game titles.

The multi player options are the most important when you get a gaming system. The first Xbox hit its opposition out of the park, and meanwhilte the Wii and the Playstation are getting close, the Xbox 360 is in front. Games gan be found without a problem and most of the games provide multiplayer options. The score for its multi player is a 5 out of 5. I found it difficult to understand that this much of an improvement was possible.

My opinion is that the Xbox 360 is the top system if you're after action online. Without even looking at the graphics or doing an Xbox 360 VGA review it shines. Many of the games are probably more suited to adults and something that is missing is the fun aspect of the Wii. The market in fun and interactive games is owned by Wii hands down. For non online adult games the Playstation 3 might have a slight edge, but if it does it is very slight and the Xbox 360 can keep up with in almost every regard.

LASIK Surgery Did Wonders to my Vision

Today I want to tell you about my personal experience with LASIK procedure and how LASIK in fact changed my life.

When I got to talk to the Lasik docotr, he was encouraging but realistic. He stated that one of my eyes would be a good candidate for total vision correction, but the other eye would likely see only some (though possibly major) improvement. He stated that about one of his Lasik procedures per month are with clients with the same level of poor vision of my worst eye.  So that made me feel good!  

I would also like to encourage those people with some problems to go ahead and visit their local Lasik center (in my case I went to the Denver Lasik Eye Surgery clinic and I can't complain!) to talk to the professionals there. As I mentioned earlier, I have had some occasional problems with dry eyes. I also have pupils that dilate easily. My conditions are reasons for the procedure not to push through, but the doctor said that my conditions were only minor. Do go and discuss your individual case.

I cannot say that the information I was given made me totally relaxed about the whole procedure. Before I had the procedure done, I tried to reason with myself not to get it.  I followed all what the Lasik doctors told me to do  after the procedure, and I am so happy with the results! I could see much better even directly after the operation was over, and things have continued to improve. I personally do not have any of the problems that are often mentioned as effects, such as halos around lights, etc. I would strongly encourage anyone to be brave enough to go down to your Lasik center and at least talk about the Lasik procedure with a knowledgeable professional.
